In Workshop 1, we focused on building a high-impact, optimized LinkedIn profile. Now that your client's profile is top shape, what's next? In Workshop 2, we dive into the real strategies that help job seekers get noticed, get connected, and get interviews. This is where your LinkedIn profile begins to do heavy lifting.

    Here's what we'll cover:

Who Should You Target and Connect with on LinkedIn?

Not all connections are created equal. Learn how to:

    • Identify high-value targets: hiring managers, decision-makers, recruiters, peers, and influencers in your industry
    • Find them using strategic filters and search tools
    • Prioritize quality over quantity to build a network that opens doors.

    The Alumni Power Play

Tap into one of the most overlooked assets on LinkedIn—your alumni network.

    • Why are alumni connections more likely to respond and help?
    • How to search and filter alumni based on location, industry, or company.
    • Scripts and strategies to make these connections meaningful and productive.

"Where Are They Now?" Networking Strategy

Old colleagues, former clients, past managers, they didn't disappear. They moved.

    • Use LinkedIn to track where former coworkers have landed.
    • Reignite dormant connections with a purpose: to share information, offer referrals, or provide direct opportunities.
    • Why these "warm" connections often lead to the best job leads.

    Writing Compelling Connection Requests

Tired of being ignored when you send connection invites? You're probably doing it wrong.

    • Learn how to write brief but impactful connection requests.
    • Tips to increase acceptance rates (especially from strangers).
    • Real examples of what to say—and what to avoid.

    The Target Company Search Strategy

Here's the hard truth: most job seekers search backward.

    • Stop chasing crowded job posts and start identifying your dream companies.
    • Learn ways to train LinkedIn’s machine learning to help you connect and get found.

Top 10 LinkedIn Career Premium Benefits

Yes, it's worth the price if you know how to utilize it effectively.

    • Deep dive into the 10 most valuable Career Premium features.
    • Why serious job seekers (and career professionals like us) shouldn't use the free version.

    What you'll leave with:

Real-world techniques, clear examples, and a sharper lens on how LinkedIn can be used as a proactive career tool, not just a digital resume.
